U.S. Congressman John Shimkus to Visit Lithuania 

Media event: Following a meeting with President Adamkus, a brief press conference will take place at the Presidency at 16:00 on January 17.

United States Congressman John Shimkus will visit Lithuania January 16 - 19.  The congressman is traveling to Vilnius to attend the Snow Summit and meet with Lithuanian government leaders to discuss bilateral issues.

On January 17, Congressman Shimkus will meet with President Valdas Adamkus.  On January 18, Congressman Shimkus will meet with Prime Minister Gediminas Kirkilas, Minister of Foreign Affairs Petras Vaitiekūnas and Speaker of the Seimas Viktoras Muntianas.
