The U. S. Embassy In Vilnius Presents A Baltic Air Policing Orientation Event

Attention Media Representatives: 

The 493rd Fighter Squadron, 48th Fighter Wing of the United States Air Forces in Europe, representing the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), have deployed F-15 fighter aircraft, aircrew and support personnel, to Siauliai, Lithuania, to perform 24/7 NATO air policing and airspace defense for the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, from October 1 through December 31, 2008.

To introduce the U.S. Air Forces, the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius has organized an orientation for media representatives on October 2, 2008 at the Zokniai Air Base in Siauliai. 

The following is the schedule for media events:
