Opening of U.S.-Lithuanian Diplomatic Relations exhibit

On January 26th, Ambassador Derse presented the 20th Anniversary of U.S.-Lithuanian Diplomatic Relations exhibit at the Vilnius Municipality building. The Ambassador and Vilnius Mayor Artūras Zuokas addressed a crowd of close to 100 Lithuanians and Americans alike. In photos, documents, and personal recollections collected from official archives, media sources, and private citizens all over the world, the exhibit looks at the story behind the strong relationship built between our countries in the twenty years since the U.S. and Lithuania renewed official relations in 1991. This exhibit is scheduled to stay in the Vilnius Municipality building for two weeks before moving to Šiauliai Public Library.
