Passport Services

Passport Renewal Adult

  • Americans should safeguard passports as they would any other valuable.
  • If you need to renew your passport, you may come to the Consular Section to apply for a new passport. 
  • You will need to complete the DS-82 application form avialable at the Consular Section, or online via this link.
  • In order to issue a U.S. passport, we must have proof of identity and citizenship. If you are renewing a valid or recently expired passport, your passport will serve as proof of both identity and citizenship.
  • All passport applicants must provide two identical 2" x 2" or 5cm x 5cm photos in color on a plain white or off white background.

All passport applicants will be required to pay a passport issuance fee.  The fee must be paid in cash in either USD or Lithuanian Litas to the Embassy at the time of application submission.  Click here for the fee information.

Please note that from December 01, 2009 the consular section will begin using an appointment system for non-emergency U.S. citizen services.
