On July 16th 19 U.S. military cadets, 2 military cadre and 2 civilian English Directors of Instruction came to Lithuania to participate in a cultural and language training program sponsored by the U.S. government.

During their visit the cadets were engaging in a series of programs around Lithuania, including teaching English to Special Forces soldiers from the Lithuanian military, as well as to members of the Roma community and to Lithuanian youth campers.  

They also had the opportunity to experience the many cultural delights that Vilnius and Lithuania have to offer and visited the Ministry of Defense, Šiauliai Airbase, the NATO Energy Center and the Armed Forces School.
