Opening of U.S.-Lithuanian Diplomatic Relations Exhibit in Marijampolė

On July 27th, the traveling exhibit commemorating the 20th anniversary of the restoration of the U.S.-Lithuania diplomatic relations opened in Marijampolė, in the lobby of the downtown hotel Europa Royale. The traveling exhibit has visited other Lithuanian cities following its opening in šiaulai. APAO Murray attended the opening and delivered remarks.
This event in Marijampole was arranged by the local high-students’ organization “Healthy Ideas” which has the mission of retaining young people in Marijampolė by providing stimulating, meaningful cultural programming. Many young adults attended the opening of the exhibit and the audience as a whole displayed a positive reaction the exhibit.
This representation highlighted the importance and strength of US-Lithuanian relations while highlighting shared values between the two countries.
