Ambassador's Farewell at the Jewish Community Center

On September 10th, the Jewish Community of Lithuania (JCL) hosted Ambassador Derse at their Center to wish her farewell and to thank her for all of her work over the past three years on resolving Holocaust legacy issues and for her strong support of minority rights.
In her honor, the JCL put up a plaque symbolizing the friendship between the Community and the U.S. Embassy, and the Ambassador presented the Community with an olive tree to symbolize strong life and peaceful relations within society.
