Yale Alley Cats, American A Capella Group, to Perform in Lithuania

The U.S. Embassy is proud to announce that the Yale Alley Cats, an acclaimed a cappella singing ensemble, will perform in Lithuania on Friday and Saturday, May 18 and 19.

The Yale Alley Cats, a fourteen-person singing group, have been spreading music around the world since 1943. Their roots lay with jazz, but their repertoire has grown to include Motown, pop, classical and many more genres.

Lithuania is the first stop on the Alley Cats' European tour. They will perform in Vilnius and in Palanga.

On May 18 (Friday) at 7:00pm the Alley Cats will sing at an outdoor concert in the Chodkeviciu Rumai Courtyard (address: Didzioji 4). Tickets can be booked at http://www.tiketa.lt/

On May 19 (Saturday) at 8:00pm the Alley Cats will perform in Palanga at Club Ramybe (address: Vytauto 35, Palanga). Tickets can be booked at Vila Ramybe in Palanga.  For more information, please contact Vila Ramybe by phone at 8 460 54124 or by e-mail at: info@klubasramybe.lt.
