U.S. Ambassador Stephen Mull congratulates Lithuania on the occasion of victory in the European Basketball Championships

U.S. Ambassador Stephen Mull sent a letter of congratulations to President Paksas on the occasion of Lithuania’s victory in the European Basketball Championships. 

In his letter, Ambassador Mull said he would cheer for Lithuania and hoped Lithuania would meet the U.S. team in the Olympic gold medal games in Athens—whereupon Mull’s loyalties would revert to the U.S. basketball team. 

Ambassador Mull added that basketball is a team sport and Lithuanians have shown once again that they are good team players who know how to work together to accomplish what no one alone could achieve.
