The faith communities of Vilnius, in conjunction with the Embassies of the Russian Federation the Kingdom of Spain, the Republic of Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America, will hold an interfaith service in memory of all of the victims of terrorism in the past four years on Sunday, September 11 at 9:30 am at the Lutheran Church at Vokieciu g. 20.

The diplomatic community and Lithuanian government officials are expected to attend.  The public and media are also welcome though seats will be limited.

Religious leaders from six separate communities are expected to participate in the service. The willingness of the interfaith community to come together and stand against terrorism demonstrates the strength of civil society as all work toward a more tolerant, peaceful and prosperous world.
