Body Armor and Protective Vests for the Lithuanian Armed Forces

This week a shipment of 1400 sets of body armor and protective vests arrived at Vilnius Airport from the United States.  This shipment was part of a special purchase order and rushed delivery requested by the Ministry of National Defense and funded by a U.S. Foreign Military Sales (Grant).

This grant money is provided annually from the United States to the Ministry of National Defense to assist in training and equipping the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
