Jazz Appreciation Evening
April 14, 2004
The National Museum of the American History, in partnership with numerous organizations and supported by composer, producer, bandleader Quincy Jones, launched Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM), in April 2002. April has been designated as the month to annually pay tribute to jazz, an historic and living American art form and one of America’s cultural treasures.
To continue the tradition started two years ago – April Jazz Appreciation Month – the American Center together with Vilnius Mama Jazz is organizing a Jazz Night at the Forum Palace on April 14, at 7 p.m.
Jazz Night will host Romas Malinaukas’ project Malinas’s Top Secret, featuring the most talented jazz instrumentalists and vocalists from Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, and Siauliai, presenting their program Tower of Power.
