Ambassador Mull will visit Ignalina and Visaginas

Wednesday, 16 March 2005, U.S. Ambassador Stephen Mull will be available for interviews at the Ignalina District Municipality at 14:45.
 
Ambassador Stephen Mull will visit Ignalina and Visaginas on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, to familiarize himself with Lithuania's northeastern region. This visit is part of the Ambassador's effort to get to know different regions of the country.
 
While in the area, Ambassador Mull will meet with the mayors of Visaginas and Ignalina, Vytautas Račkauskas and Bronis Ropė, and with Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) General Director Victor Shevaldin. The Ambassador will tour the power plant and visit the Visaginas Technology and Business Education and Training Center to learn about the Center's vocational training and distance learning programs.
