Ambassador Stephen Mull to Pay Visit to Panevezys

Press event: 9.30-10.15, Meeting at the Panevezys County Governor‘s Office  (Respublikos g. 38, Panevezys). Brief press availability after the meeting.

On Thursday, 19 January 2006, Ambassador Stephen Mull will visit Panevezys, where he plans to meet with local political leaders, representatives of local business, local law enforcement officials, and local leaders of civil society organizations.

At his morning meeting with political leaders, Ambassador Mull will meet with Panevezys County Governor Gema Umbrasiene, Panevezys City Mayor Vitas Matuzas, Panevezys Regional Mayor Povilas Zagunis, and the Mayors of Kupiskis, Birzai, Rokiskis and Pasvalys regions.

The one-day trip concludes with a visit to a local school and a roundtable discussion with representatives of non-governmental organizations.
